Case File 6B-09: Paris, France
Case Date: July 2013
The French Ministry requested CIA assistance from their special G-Unit paranormal team as the Central Directorate of Interior Intelligence ("DCRI"); responsible for counter-espionage, counter-terrorism, and surveillance of potential threats on French territories) investigated a potential attack on their capital city.
The DCRI was already investigating a variety of intercepted emails by suspected members of the Gaborchend terrorist network when the Gare Du Nord train facility suddenly saw thirty-seven of its citizens struck down by a mysterious mutated strain of the Ebola virus. When victims of the virus attack reported seeing a man walk into the train station, calmly stand in the central commuter hall, and remove his jacket and shirt releasing a plume of deadly spores from his body, the DCRI knew they were dealing with the infamous assassin Yersin who is known for his chemical warfare tactics.
G-Unit Agent Milo Finn and CIA Agent Lindsey Roberts were assigned to assist the DCRI and successfully helped prevent the spread of further contagion to other citizens in the vicinity. However, as Finn and Roberts then pursued the trail of Yersin it was determined that additional resources were needed to research the viral outbreak and a possible cure therefore CIA Asset Frank Williams joined the team along with a team of CDC scientists.
Unofficial eyewitness accounts during a standoff at the a River Seine suggest that Yersin was possibly injured, but ultimately escaped capture by Agents Finn and Roberts. The French Ministry last reported that eight of the Gare Du Nord victims did not survive the attack and that the remaining twenty-nine were still being held in isolation and treated by a joint medical task force of CDC, leading French healthcare, and World Health Organization members.
