GRISLY Timeline

Grisly Unit is officially activated and tasked with dealing with the Nephilim threat in issue #1 during President Obama's historic press conference. However, the return of the Nephilim on Earth did not begin with the San Bartolo incursion incident that sparked the President's executive order. The story of the Nephilim on Earth actually goes as far back as the Old Testament Bible. Many have been aware of their existence, but were often ridiculed for their arguments suggesting that the Nephilim had returned. More frequent than not, Nephilim sightings and events were labeled as hoaxes and conspiracy theories by world governments. Recently, scientists and historians have begun to analyze previously reported incursion incidents and have indicated that a trend has emerged showing an increase in Nephilim activity over the past sixty years. Below is a timeline of a few noted events leading up to Grisly Unit #1:
